The range of products offered by hts to its customers is growing, with the new ALM series model, which is comes under the aluminization treatment plants. 
Aluminized treatments are performed to avoid the poor oxidation resistance in the use at high temperatures of details made with intermetal alloys based on TiAl compound. To avoid the formation of the mixed TiO2 + Al2O3 oxide layer with non-protective characteristics, coverings - compatible with the league - capable of forming a protective scale with regard to the external environment are used. This represents a practical solution to overcome the problem.The aluminization performs a cementation treatment aimed at creating adherent and compact aluminide layers on the steel capable of providing high oxidation resistance combined with good mechanical properties, especially to improve erosion, cavitation, hot oxidation resistance as well as to corrosion resistance in general. Furnaces of range HTS-ALM allows carrying out aluminization treatments with excellent results in terms of quality, offering all the advantages of the vacuum environment, the uniformity of the heating chamber, an appropriate level in the cooling rate (although not required by the type of treatment) and excellent control thanks to the high degree of customization of the control system developed specifically for this furnace.The results obtained allow considering these furnaces excellent in terms of quality-price ratio, reliability and flexibility in configuration and programming. |
